Chin Augmentation

There are instances when nature may not be as generous, leaving us with a small, recessed chin that appears disproportionate to our facial features. In the past, implants were the primary solution, but they often resulted in an artificial appearance, leading to dissatisfaction among patients. Nowadays, more natural alternatives are available to create a harmonious look.

Using dermal fillers to augment the chin provides a more natural result, as the filler adapts to the chin's movements during speech. Implants, on the other hand, are lifeless materials that can be noticeable after the procedure. As such, an increasing number of patients are opting for simpler, more natural solutions.

The chin area can also be affected by a condition known as Peau d'Orange or orange peel skin, characterized by many tiny dimples produced by abnormal contraction of the mentalis muscle when speaking or making facial expressions. To address this issue, small injections of Botox or Xeomin can be administered at the muscle's origin, relaxing the contractions and resulting in a smoother skin surface. In such cases, dermal fillers are not necessary.

Choose the natural approach for enhancing your chin and experience a more balanced, harmonious facial appearance.
